Obsero secures $1.2 million seed round led by SFC Capital
London-based AI search visibility startup Obsero raised $1.2 million in seed funding led by SFC Capital, with participation from several customers.

Obsero has secured $1.2 million in seed funding led by SFC Capital. Several of the startup's own customers joined the investment round.
Founders and background
Obsero was founded in September 2025 by Mike Logue and Andy Francos. The pair met at financial trading firm IG Group in 2019.
Mike Logue, the CEO, previously led global performance marketing at IG Group, managing a £50 million media budget. He later became VP of Growth at US fintech brokerage tastytrade. Andy Francos, the Chief Product Officer, managed a 20-person team at IG Group responsible for a £3 million annual SEO investment. He was also the founding Head of Organic at used-car platform Cazoo, helping generate £252 million in organic revenue over three years.
Product and market traction
Obsero specialises in Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO). It helps brands understand and increase their visibility in AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google’s AI Overviews. During its first year, the company tracked and analysed more than 10 million AI-generated answers.
Its platform combines proprietary prompt tracking technology with a senior consultancy team. Current clients include digital bank Zopa and online trading provider Pepperstone. The startup also works with agency partners IDHL and Silverbean.
Use of funds
The new capital will develop Obsero’s first specialist AI agents. These agents will be trained on the company's GEO playbook to identify opportunities and help marketing teams implement improvements.
Funding will also more than double the engineering team. Also, it will accelerate commercial growth and go-to-market efforts. Obsero has not disclosed its valuation following the funding round.
Broader AI funding context
Obsero’s round is part of a wave of investment in AI search visibility tools. In 2026, several other startups in the adjacent marketing technology space have announced funding. Together, these rounds represent approximately €30.6 million in disclosed investment.
| Company | Disclosed 2026 Funding |
|---|---|
| Searchable | €11.9 million |
| geoSurge | €10 million |
| DOJO AI | €5.1 million |
| Revnu | €2.6 million |
| Obsero | $1.2 million (approx. €1.1 million) |
SFC Capital, the lead investor in Obsero's round, previously secured an €11 million commitment from the British Business Bank in July 2026. Ed Stevenson is the Fund Principal at SFC Capital.
Obsero will use the funds to develop its first specialist AI agents, double its engineering team, and accelerate commercial growth.
