AI software developer Callosum led the week's activity with a substantial £73.5 million seed round. The London-based company, founded in 2026, is building systems software for heterogeneous computing. Its technology is designed to match specific AI workloads with the most cost-effective and computationally efficient hardware models.

Climate tech firm Ampaire raised £14 million in a Series B round. The London company, established in 2017, develops hybrid-electric retrofit systems for commercial aircraft. Its technology aims to cut emissions, fuel use, and operating costs.

Edtech startup Medly AI secured £5.9 million in seed funding. Founded in 2025, the London-based firm is creating a personalised AI tutoring platform. It tailors learning to individual student styles to prepare them for GCSE and other school exams.
