Körber invests in NAiSE for vendor-agnostic fleet management
Körber has acquired a stake in software startup NAiSE, forming a strategic partnership to advance vendor-agnostic fleet management for mixed vehicle fleets in warehouses and production logistics.

Körber has acquired a stake in NAiSE to form a strategic partnership focused on vendor-agnostic fleet management. The internationally active technology group took its stake in the Germany-based software company on October 23, 2026. This investment raises an existing collaboration into a strategic alliance aimed at supporting NAiSE's next growth phase. Founded in 2017 and fully self-financed until now, NAiSE provides fleet management software that connects automated guided vehicles (AGVs), autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), and manually operated industrial trucks from different manufacturers. Its platform uses a standardized integration layer compatible with any warehouse management, execution, or control system.
NAiSE will continue to operate independently, serving and developing its platform for production logistics. The company also plans to make its existing ecosystem of AGV and AMR partners available to joint and new customers worldwide. Körber will act as a strategic investor and sparring partner in this endeavor.
Platform Vision and Use Cases
The partnership aims to unlock the full potential of OEM-agnostic fleet management in warehouse environments. A key goal is to develop new intralogistics use cases, including applications for humanoid robotics. The alliance seeks to combine Körber's and NAiSE's expertise to improve the orchestration of mixed vehicle fleets across both production and warehouse settings.
This addresses a significant industry challenge. Many operations suffer from isolated vehicle fleets that lack an overarching control level. That limitation hinders efficiency, transparency, and scalability. The partnership directly targets this problem.
Leadership and Independence
The founding team of NAiSE-Kai Przybysz-Herz, Robert Libert, and Raphael Kusumoto-will remain in operational management. Kai Przybysz-Herz, the co-founder and CEO, emphasized the deliberate choice of a partner that aligns with the startup's vision. "We deliberately chose a partner that respects our independence and also helps us scale internationally," he said.
Dr. Helena Garriga, Körber Executive Board Member responsible for the Supply Chain business area, endorsed NAiSE's approach. She stated that the startup addresses the orchestration of mixed fleets with a vendor-agnostic, standardized, and field-proven method.
Ecosystem Expansion
A core component of the strategy involves broadening access to NAiSE's technology ecosystem. The existing network of AGV and AMR partners will be made accessible to both current and new customers globally through the partnership. NAiSE remains open to working with additional system integrators and vehicle manufacturers as part of its continued growth model.
The partnership enables customers worldwide to improve fleet orchestration in production and warehouse environments.
