UK wellness startup Pirkx has been acquired by the publicly-listed British company Pri0r1ty Intelligence. The deal adds a small and medium enterprise-focused employee benefits platform to Pri0r1ty's portfolio of AI-powered solutions.

The acquisition was completed for an initial cash consideration of €58k, alongside a capped royalty payment of 4% of revenues for five years. The royalty payment is capped at €407k. Pri0r1ty will fund the transaction from its existing cash resources and is acquiring the business on a debt-free basis, while assuming Pirkx's current payroll liability, estimated at approximately €44k per month.

AI integration strategy

Pri0r1ty plans to integrate Pirkx's existing user base into its technology ecosystem. The company aims to use its proprietary AI tools to improve operations, expand revenue opportunities, and strengthen its position in the SME software market. Following the acquisition, Pri0r1ty expects to integrate more than 10,800 active paying members in the UK, based on figures from June 2026.

Rory Maxwell, Chief Executive Officer of Pri0r1ty Intelligence Group, stated the acquisition is a key step in their growth strategy. "Pirkx built an incredible product proposition with thousands of active SME users, but like many growing platforms, it faced administrative and operational scale friction," he said.

The technology stack

The company intends to apply its AI automation stack to Pirkx's platform. This suite includes Vox, an AI voice agent for onboarding and sales; Advisor, an AI customer support tool for member enquiries; and Compass ID, a data enrichment solution for analysing user profiles to support targeted marketing.

Pri0r1ty said the acquisition provides an opportunity to use this existing SME network as a distribution channel for its wider suite of SaaS products. The goal is to introduce artificial intelligence tools to automate customer onboarding, support, and sales processes.

Maxwell emphasized the strategic value of the user base. "More importantly, Pirkx gives us direct, daily engagement with over 10,000 SME business owners and employees almost overnight," he added. "This transaction proves our model: acquiring user bases at attractive valuations, plugging in our AI growth engine, and expanding our overall SaaS distribution network."

Market context and company profiles

This acquisition comes amid continued investment activity across European HRTech, employee wellbeing, and workplace software in 2026. According to the source, disclosed funding rounds in adjacent workforce technology segments represented approximately €150 million of activity during the year.

Founded in 2024, Pri0r1ty Intelligence Group is listed on AIM under PR1 and also trades OTC under PRIAF. It operates as a data, AI, and marketing services group. Founded in 2018, Pirkx developed a self-serve digital benefits platform designed to make healthcare support, mental health services, financial wellbeing tools, and employee perks more accessible for SMEs and the contingent workforce.

The Pirkx platform provides services including 24/7 virtual GP access, telephone counselling, gym discounts, and more than 2,500 retail cashback offers. With the addition of Pirkx, Pri0r1ty is positioning the platform as a key asset in its plans to expand its AI-driven software offering for SMEs. The company said it is also exploring further revenue-generating transactions as it looks to continue scaling its technology and distribution network.
