Séverine Grégoire is now the European head of VistIQ, a startup created to solve a core operational problem for investment funds. The company, which was spun out from the transatlantic investment fund Founders Future, aims to connect a fund's internal tools to automate data processing and improve portfolio oversight.

VistIQ's name combines "vista" and "IQ,"reflecting its goal to give investors a more intelligent view of their holdings."It's quite striking to see that investment companies finance the most innovative businesses, but their own working methods have evolved little in twenty years,"she observed. She argues this gap is less about willingness and more about technological maturity."The best artificial intelligence models today have extraordinary reasoning capabilities," Grégoire added. "But they know neither a fund's portfolio, its history, its strategy, nor its past decisions. VistIQ builds this layer between the models and the business."

This common memory also addresses a structural industry issue where knowledge remains tied to individuals rather than the organization. "When people leave, part of the company's knowledge is lost. We capitalize on a single and lasting source of truth," she said.

Rapid adoption and transatlantic expansion

Grégoire reports that adoption has been effortless with teams already oriented toward innovation. "When you present them with a product that will make their lives easier, they confirm that it is exactly what they need," she shared. She credits this positive reception to the product's advanced stage-it is deployed, not only demonstrated.

"We are no longer at the stage of promise or demo, we have a live solution, already deployed with clients," Grégoire stated. She sees this momentum across the sector, noting that "private equity is at the beginning of its AI transformation."The launch was self-funded by Marc Menasé and Séverine Grégoire."We already have solid commitments, including from several design partners who themselves wish to invest in this round," Grégoire indicated.

The company has seven employees with R&D based in France. It plans ten hires by the end of 2026 in Europe and the United States, where the arrival of a co-CEO has been announced. Its business model is based on a subscription calculated according to the number of portfolio lines managed for the client.
