Easol has secured €26.78 million in a Series A extension round. The funding, consisting of €17.85 million in equity and an €8.92 million debt facility, brings the company's total capital raised to €53.57 million.

The equity round was led by Y Combinator with participation from Tiger Global, Foundation Capital, FMZ Ventures, Notion Capital, and Eight Roads. Viola Credit provided the debt facility. The London-based experience commerce platform, founded in 2021 by Ben and Lisa Simpson, will use the capital to develop and scale its agentic AI tool, Teammates, for experience businesses worldwide.

Easol's platform provides a single connected system for managing bookings, payments, marketing, support, and guest data. Its new AI agents are designed to operate across these functions using live business data.

AI-powered operational transformation

Early deployments of the Teammates AI tool have already delivered concrete financial results for users. The system identified $50,000 in potential upsell opportunities. It also recovered $28,000 in outstanding payments that might otherwise have been lost.

This operational support arrives as the sector faces rising costs and tighter margins. Easol argues that digitising the experience economy is now a commercial necessity, not merely a convenience. The company sees AI as a critical competitive advantage for businesses to operate, analyse, and act at scale.

Client validation and market reach

The platform's impact is evidenced by its extensive client base and global reach. Easol powers experiences for major brands across the events industry.

In 2026 alone, experiences booked through Easol's system reached 2.8 million guests across more than 135 countries. The company supports this network from offices in London, New York, and Los Angeles.

Founder perspective on AI-driven growth

Ben Simpson, co-founder and CEO of Easol, emphasized the major potential of the technology. He stated that AI now allows the platform to support experience creators in scaling revenue in ways that were unimaginable when the company launched in 2021.

Simpson and his co-founder Lisa previously managed the Rise Festival, which drew two million guests annually to locations from the French Alps to the Sahara Desert. This background informs Easol's mission to give experience businesses full operational control and bring their technology in-house. The company also states it has never sold its customers' data to third parties.

Industry validation from client

Client feedback shows the platform's practical impact on operations. Eve Szlendak, Head of Sales for State of Play Hospitality UK, confirmed the efficiency gains.

"I used to spend up to three days building reports to capture every possible scenario," Szlendak said. "Now, the dashboards give me the information I need instantly."

The new funding will accelerate the global development and scaling of Easol's Teammates AI tool for experience businesses.
