Seaya Nova Launches €600 Million Growth Fund for European Tech
Seaya has launched Seaya Nova, a €600 million growth fund to lead Series B to D rounds in European technology scale-ups, backed by the EIF and led from a new London office.

Seaya has launched a €600 million growth fund targeting Europe's established technology companies. The Seaya Nova fund will invest between €20 million and €50 million per company, leading or co-leading Series B to D funding rounds.
The fund achieved its first close at €600 million in just six months. It is backed by the European Investment Fund through the European Tech Champions Initiative, a programme designed to address a funding gap for growth-stage tech firms in Europe. Other institutional investors, corporations and family offices also provided capital.
Leadership and backing
Seaya Nova is led by Founder and Managing Partner Beatriz González and new Managing Partner Vinoth Jayakumar. Jayakumar joins after more than a decade of growth investing in Europe, having backed companies including Revolut, Wise, Thought Machine and ICEYE. His appointment coincides with the opening of Seaya's new London office, which will lead the Nova strategy alongside the firm's Madrid headquarters.
Beatriz González stated that the new fund represents a strategic evolution. "Seaya Nova is the natural evolution of what we have built over thirteen years," she said. The firm now operates three complementary strategies: early-stage Seaya Ventures, impact-focused Seaya Andromeda, and the new growth vehicle, Seaya Nova.
Strategy and focus
The fund will target European technology companies that have moved beyond the start-up phase. It seeks firms with proven business models, strong unit economics and clear ambitions to become global category leaders. Vinoth Jayakumar noted that the ecosystem is maturing. "Europe now produces companies capable of leading their categories globally," he said. He also pointed to artificial intelligence as a force that is shortening the journey from product-market fit to market leadership.
Seaya Nova's launch is part of a wave of significant growth-stage fundraising in European venture capital during 2026. Several other firms have recently announced major fund closes, representing a substantial injection of capital into the scale-up landscape.
| Firm | Fund Focus | Amount Raised |
|---|---|---|
| Kembara | DeepTech Growth | €750 million |
| Molten Ventures | Series B+ Growth | €203 million |
| Mouro Capital | Not Specified | ~€343.7 million |
| 2150 | Climate Tech | €210 million |
| SlateVC | Not Specified | €132 million |
| Samaipata | Early-Stage AI | €70 million (toward €110m target) |
Together with Seaya Nova's €600 million, these announcements represent approximately €2.31 billion in reported fund closes. This activity follows Seaya's own previous fundraising, which included the €300 million final close of its impact fund, Seaya Andromeda, in 2024. The firm will now deploy Seaya Nova's capital into Series B to D rounds across Europe.
